McBade Engineers & Consultants, LLC
McBade is looking for a highly motivated professional civil engineer who can perform design related tasks as well as manage projects for water, wastewater, stormwater, and transportation infrastructure in our Youngsville, LA office. This position will primarily consist of completing study documents, providing hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and analysis, design of water, sewer, drainage and transportation infrastructure, periodic on-site observation and other calculations as needed. Candidates should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, quality-driven, team-focused, possess an outgoing and positive attitude, are dependable and meet all assigned project deadlines and budget constraints.
Job Responsibilities:
• Serve as design engineer for civil engineering projects
• Work under the supervision of Senior Engineer and Firm Principals.
• Prepare models, engineering specifications, data sheets, sketches, drawings and perform calculations in support of engineering activities.
• Review construction documents, drainage models and reports.
• Make field trips and conduct field audits.
• Prepare planning documents, reports, studies, and calculations.
• Provide quality deliverables to clients on time and on budget
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer in the State of Louisiana or has the ability to obtain license through reciprocity
• 4 to 6 years of experience in related design
• Project Management experience a plus
• AutoCAD 2018 or higher experience
• Construction management or field inspection experience
• Hydrologic and hydraulic modeling experience using HEC products or SWMM is preferred but not required
• Microstation and InRoads experience is a plus
• Project Financial Management experience a plus
